A series of illustrated collages described as “a tasty combo platter of inside jokes, Brutalist architecture, the moon, dinosaurs, ghosts, favorite local haunts and an online location finder.” West and Bagley translate inspiration from the unique three-word addresses assigned by what3words.com into imaginative and whimsical artworks.

Henri Toulouse-Lautrec’s famous depictions of the underbelly of Paris – including his vision of the Moulin Rouge – take on a bold new life in this intimate cabaret-style performance. Artistic relationships, tensions and passions run wild amid a cacophony of dance, music, drama and movement. Glamour and destitution, beauty and ugliness blend in this visceral exploration of sexuality, presentation and entertainment

Local Canadian Fine Artist Sharyn Roit Miller presents her latest exhibition “Inspiration Intuition” featuring 50 new works of art of mixed mediums. Throughout history there have been many stories told and sage advice given from the Elders that have been passed down from generation to generation. Over time these stories have been lost or forgotten. Join us for a night of storytelling, that will be remembered for many years to come. Featuring four short films from the winners of the Storyhive Indigenous Storytellers Edition and one short from the CSIF/imagineNative fund.

We Don’t Have Time to Feel These Feelings: An Indigenous Film Screening will showcase documentary works by Canadian female and indigenous filmmakers. The event will screen “Takla Trap House” (Director: Levi Davis), “The Foundation: Indigenous Hip Hop in Canada” (Director: DIANA HELLSON, AKA MAMARUDEGYAL MTHC),”CharlieTube” (Director: Adam Solaway, Producer: Stacey Strikes with a Gun), “Kohkum & the Quest” (Director: Berkley Brady, Producer: Jonelle Belcourt) and “Breathe” (Director/Writer/Producer: Kristina Fithern-Stiele).

Along with the screening of these five short films, the event will include two panel discussions with key players in the film, the subjects of the documentaries and prominent figures in the local film community.
